I grew up on Long Island in the 1960's and decided, at the age of seven, that I wanted to be an artist At Buffalo State College, where I studied art education, I spent a semester in Italy studying Italian art and architecture. In 1979, I studied Textile Design at FIT, graduating Summa cum Laude.
Today, I live with my husband and two daughters in Bellmore, Long Island. My work is in a number of private collections and I exhibit locally. I teach drawing and watercolor painting. I teach crafts and do decorative art.
I work in many different media depending on the subject matter, and my feeling about how to represent an idea, so I am always teaching myself how to master different mediums.
