Michele is an artist who has rediscovered her lifetime dream and passion for painting. Michele has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology while working in the Academic Affairs area of the College. She is now retired and a full time artist and student. She acknowledges her late father Carmine Thomas Pecora for the artistic talent she inherits from him. She has studied botanical water color with Rose Pellicano and watercolor techniques with Fred Skelnar.
Her work has been exhibited at Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury, NY; The Garden City Library, LI, NY; The Carole La Plant Gallery at St. Francis of Assisi Church, NYC; the Principi Art Barn, Amagansett, NY; Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Amagansett, NY; Roanoke Vineyards, Riverhead, NY; Dilberto Vineyards, Jamesport, NY; the 220 Gallery, NYC; and at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Most recently has become an active board member of the Long Beach Art League and has exhibited at the Long Beach and Rockville Centre Libraries and most recently at the Sandel Senior Center in Rockville Centre.
